Coach Roberto “Chamo” Peña is a highly respected baseball professional with elite playing and coaching credentials. A standout high school prospect, he committed to the University of Florida and competed in the SEC before finishing his collegiate career at Kansas State University, where he elevated both his offense and defensive versatility. His performance led him into the MLB Draft League and ultimately to the Missoula PaddleHeads, where he set the league’s single-season home run record with 47 homers, demonstrating elite power and competitive drive. 

Transitioning to coaching, Coach Chamo quickly earned a reputation in South Florida for developing advanced hitters and defenders. His blend of professional standards, high-energy instruction, and accountability accelerates player growth. At Dragons Elite Pines, he oversees player development, mentors coaches, and ensures consistent training across age groups, helping athletes excel on and off the field.
