Eric de Sousa brings a strong blend of elite playing experience and long-term coaching leadership to his role. As a player, he was a 2006 Champions Cup Club National Champion with Schulz Academy, serving as Defensive Team Captain under the direction of Dr. Josef Schulz. His coaching career spans over a decade, including Head Coach roles with Palm Beach Gardens Predators and Jupiter United. Eric currently serves as Varsity Men’s Soccer Head Coach at Somerset Academy Canyons, where he has led the program to two district championships and earned the 2024 Sun Sentinel Coach of the Year award. In addition to his school and club leadership, he is a Soccer Ambassador for SportsEdTV. Eric is known for his disciplined approach, player development focus, and ability to build competitive, cohesive teams.
